Jon Stewart Takes on "Petty Woman"

I love Jon Stewart. I’ve confessed my love and devotion for the star of Comedy Central’s Daily Show many times in the past but I renew my admiration nearly nightly while viewing the show. Last night was no exception. In just a few minutes aided with some video clips and graphics Jon took down Sarah Palin or as he called her “Petty Woman” for trying to play the victim in an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News.

If she wasn’t helping drive up President Obama’s approval ratings on an almost hourly basis http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2011/01/gallup-poll-palins-unfavorability-hits-record-high.php

I would tell her to shut up but now I’m thinking, just let her run down like a battery operated toy. Sooner or later people with functioning brains and a semblance of sense will catch on to this woman’s overwhelming ego and near total ignorance of politics and current events and simply turn away in disgust.

If you haven’t seen this clip, take a moment and enjoy.

The first time I saw Palin I said, "This chick is way out of her depth." She is colossal ambition underpinned by nothing. But my favorite description of her is the one coined by Chris Matthews, "She is an empty vessel waiting to be filled by an ideology she does not understand."
